Project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Starlight (UK) Limited is proposing to develop a new Energy Hub, near Blyth in Nottinghamshire, to help the UK meet its Net Zero targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">The proposals include the deployment of solar panel arrays, along with battery energy storage facilities, which will generate 200GWh annually of electricity back in to the National Grid, via a new substation, which will connect to the existing overhead National Grid pylon line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">The proposed development areas are to the west and east of Blyth, as well as to the east of Ranskill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" to this development proposal, they intend on holding a series of Community Consultation Events in order to present their proposals to the local communities and will seek feedback from these communities with regards to the development plans and Starlight\u2019s biodiversity enhancement and landscape impact mitigation proposals, before any formal deployment consent is sought via an The&nbsp;major opportunities arise during the construction phase when suitably qualified local firms will be invited to bid for different aspects of construction. This is similar to a planning permission and grants development consent for projects of this nature.
